21 & 22 NOVEMBER 2014

Join us in Nottingham for two days of Worship and Teaching, as we pursue all that God has for us.

At this years event:
Simon Ponsonby (St Aldate's, Oxford)
Craig Simonian (Vineyard Spirit Tribe)
Miriam Swaffield (Fusion)

The Cause to Live For is a network of students, 20s and 30s across the Vineyard movement in the UK & Ireland. We want to Inspire, equip and propel our generation in the ministry of the Kingdom.

Our main event happens every autumn in a blaze of worship, teaching and ministry. Buy your ticket today and join a gathering of your generation who are desperate to see a move of God’s Kingdom breakout across our nations.

We want to inspire our generation to take their rightful place to be so much more than just consumers. We long for them to have reckless, dangerous faith that causes ripples in the communities in which they live and work.
Throughout our Christian lives we find people who are further along the journey. They are ministering or doing what we feel God has called us to do. Or maybe they have a spiritual gift that we long to develop. We want to learn from and be inspired by these people to operate in the fullness of the Spirit’s power.
There is something about the word propel that implies we aren’t 100% in control, that we are propelled out by God and are learning to follow his leading. We want God to stir and propel people to start new churches, communities and ministries.
We want people to follow Jesus’ example by preaching good news to the poor, proclaiming freedom for the prisoners, recovery of sight for the blind and releasing the oppressed (Luke 4). In all this we are always asking ‘What is the Father doing?’ and then go where he is already working.

At Cause this year

Simon Ponsonby
Simon is Pastor of Theology at St Aldates Oxford, having written several acclaimed books including ‘Pursuit of the Holy’ and ‘God inside out.’ His mix of deep biblical understanding, humour, practical application and spirit led teaching has led to him being a much sought after speaker and we are thrilled to have him at Cause.
Craig Simonian
Craig leads a thriving Vineyard church in New Jersey, USA, having previously served in Tajikistan. He has helped pioneer mission in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia; served on the Vineyard’s Muslim Engagement Team; as well as galvanising 18-30s across the USA through the Vineyard Spirit Tribe. Flying in especially for Cause, you do not want to miss him!
Miriam Swaffield
Miriam Swaffield
Miriam graduated from the University of York and is staying put in the city to work for Fusion heading up Loveyouruni. She helps lead G2, part of The Belfrey Church, heading up the Student Team. Miriam is sold out for telling people about Jesus who don't yet know him, and is especially passionate about seeing this generation of students transformed by God!
Trent have been writing songs together for over fourteen years; leading worship at New Wine, Greenbelt, Spring Harvest and several other events in the UK, Ireland and USA. Trent are known for their collective approach to writing songs breathing fresh expression into Biblical themes, crafting songs born out of their walk with God as part of the Trent Vineyard.
