Speaker: Hetal Knowlson
Whether we realise it or not, all of us have power. We see it at work in friendships, relationships, churches, workplaces, universities, social media, and everyday life. We see it used for good, and we see the damage it can do when it’s misused. But what if power itself isn’t the problem?
In this interactive seminar, we’ll dive into 1 and 2 Corinthians and explore Paul’s surprising vision of power. Together, we’ll consider where power comes from, what it’s for, and what happens when it’s shaped by Jesus, the cross, and the Spirit. Expect Scripture, discussion, and practical reflection as we consider how to use what God has entrusted to us for the good of others.
Hetal is one of the Senior Pastors at Leeds Vineyard and a former doctor. She completed an MA in Theology, researching power and leadership, and loves helping people discover the fullness of life God offers through Jesus. Outside church, you'll usually find her running, reading a good book, eating Nando's, or asking deep questions with someone she met five minutes ago.
