Who are we?

The Cause to Live For (Cause) equips the UK & Ireland’s Young Adults (18-29s) to become vibrant disciples of Jesus who collaboratively and courageously express the glory of God in every sector of society.

It is hosted by Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland and is open to people from all church streams and none.

Who runs it?

Cause is led by Tom and Lesley Thompson who are the Senior Pastors of Croydon Vineyard, a multi-ethnic church in South London, which they planted in 2013. Tom is a member of the VLT and Lesley also works part-time as a psychotherapist.

“We don’t think there’s ever been a more important time to invest in this generation. God is stirring something that we are only just beginning to see, and Cause has a unique role to play in helping form, equip and send young adults into all that he is calling them to.”
